So I went to San Francisco last week and it was awesome! If only the weather in Hawaii were a little cooler like it is in San Francisco. My skin looked amazing during the trip. Lack of humidity and cooler temperatures made my pores look much smaller and skin less oily. ?I brought my travel sized Botanical Kinetics travel kit with me (great for traveling). Unfortunately, our car got broken into one day and all my essentials were stolen? ? ?Oh well. Time to buy new products!?
So AVEDA came out with their new fall makeup line. I went to their class to learn the new looks. Honestly, these colors look good on every skin tone. The girl I was partnered with has red hair,and she said she never uses cool colors because of the contrast with her hair and skin. But, the purples and grays looked great on her! It complemented her look without being distracting or dull. Some people think the AVEDA makeup is not very dramatic, but it definitely can be. The shadows are very pigmented. Since they are made from natural plant pigments, you have to apply it slightly different than synthetic makeups. The color should be pressedd into the skin rather than swiped across it. If you layer the color by dabbing it onto the area you want, then pressing it into the skin and blend it outward, you can achieve any look you want.
