Since I’ve started doing nails, I feel like painting my nails a different color every time I’m at work. Today I wanted to try something new. I went with a deep french nail. I never thought I would enjoy nails so much, but it’s so much fun! This design is simple and easy. If you want to try it at home, you just paint the base color first. Then, for the deep french tip color, you pain the moon shape at the base of the nail first, then paint the rest of the nail to the end. Easy!

So, I just started apprenticing to do nails also. This week, I’ve been practicing my painting. For this one I just the new OPI sheer color tints to do an ombre effect (gradation). It says it’s a top coat, but I’ve seen many different tutorials in which you can make a beautiful ombre and watercolor effect. The ombre turns out really well over glitter polish. I still have to practice fading it nicely with solid colors underneath. The glitter makes it much easier to blend. ?For the base color, I used OPI satin finish “This gown needs crown”, then for the first layer I used the blue sheer tint, and the last layer I used the purple sheer tint.
