I went home to visit my parents house, and I really miss waking up to this view everyday! It’s nice to get out of the city and escape higher up the mountains where it’s much cooler. ?Living in the city really allows you to appreciate the scenery. You can see Diamond Head all the way in the background. It is crazy though, the amount of high rises there are now. My dad used to check the surf every morning at Ala Moana because we used to be able to see the beach in between the buildings. But now, I don’t think there are any spots that you can see the waves through all the construction and new apartments being built. Hawaii’s getting crowded, but I still love it! I wouldn’t live in any other place?
