Welcome to Hawaii Nei! Have you been up Tantalus yet? It is a beautiful mountain near Manoa Valley. The drive up is a little narrow and winding, but it is totally worth it. Once you get to the top, you won’t regret it. Check out the view of Diamond Head and Waikiki! It’s breathtaking, especially, on a clear day with blue skies. Even when the weather is hot and humid in town, Tantalus is always nice and cool. So lucky to live in Hawaii.

ハワイでは毎日のように、どこかしらでファーマーズマーケットが開催されています。
ハワイにも一応シーズンがあって、日本ほどには旬という感じはないですがその時々で野菜や果物、お花の種類が変わります
今は夏なのでグアバやパッションフルーツが並ぶ嬉しいシーズン。。。私はパッションフルーツがだーいすきなので、探しまわって買いに行きます いつも行っていると段々とお店の人とも仲良くなって、味見しながら何が美味しいとかどうやって料理をするかなどと教えてくれますしおまけもしてくれます。 ハーブも新鮮な物が買えるので、レモングラスはいつもそのまま煮立ててお茶として頂いていますが部屋中にレモングラスのいい香りが漂って天然の芳香剤？！ お勧めです
