I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with lots of food and family. I was still pretty full this morning since I spent most of the afternoon and evening eating…But now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s time to start preparing for Christmas! If you are visiting Honolulu, we will be open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day! And if you’re not visiting and you are all done with your holiday shopping, come in and visit us! (‘I’m definitely not, but for those of you that are organized, stop by for a day of pampering since you deserve it for not procrastinating like the rest of us.)? ?

If you’re having trouble finding gifts, we still have our special Christmas gift sets that are nicely wrapped in Nepali paper. This will definitely make it easier for you. Just purchase a box and it’s so pretty you don’t need to wrap it! Just put a card on it and you’re good to go.

Good luck with black Friday if you’re out there at the malls. I try to avoid crowds and wait until cyber Monday (for lazy folks). Hopefully all the crazy shoppers that waited in line from last night won’t take all the good deals!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you’re not too busy shopping to enjoy a nice dinner with your family?restaurantwinehappy02

If you’re a last minute planner, I have an awesome cinnamon apricot glaze you can use for ham. It’s my favorite!

3 1lb boxes Brown Sugar
1 Large Bone in Ham @ 20lb (Farmer John/Ashley)
1 can Whole Cranberry (about 16oz)
1 can Apricots Drained (about 16oz)
1 Jar Hawaiian Sun Passion Fruit Jelly (10oz)
1 tsp Pumpkin Spice
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Allspice
1 Tbsp French¡Çs Mustard
Score top of Ham.
Set oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients together and pour all over ham. Baste every 15 minutes for 2 hours.
Last 5 minutes Broil. Let Ham rest 15 minutes before cutting.
